Pw50 low compression after rebuild If you pull the top off the carb with the throttle and choke barrels, you can operate the choke and see that it moves freely up and down. It read 90 PSI before and now reads a little less than 100. I could see no damage. PW50. I did a compression test and cylinders 1-5 were all about 130-135psi dry and a surprising 130-170 wet ( 1 cylinder same wet, one only up to 150 and the rest up to about 170psi). I recently rebuilt the top end on my rm250 and this morning when i went to kick it over it had no compression. I rebuilt a small block Chevy, it burned oil and had low compression for a few hundred km before I realized the rings weren't seated. ahhhh this thing is making me mad. After running saw enough to make a few basic adjustments and cutting a few rounds to put some load on it (total about 1/2 hour run time so far), I let saw cool down and have checked compression again.
